Wrens are one of my favorite yard songbirds - they have to investigate every nook-and-cranny; the male loves to build nests.
Near the fern leaf beech trees at Blandy Farm.

Wrens are great little birds and you got a nice photo of this one. A really bad winter few years ago they took a big hit up my way, but seem to be finally making a comeback.
