Early June, had six fledge from our single bluebird box. These two (go back two 'previous') like our backyard and return often. After I cleaned out the box, Mom & Dad immediately constructed a 2nd nest with five eggs. Been watching
their development from our open back porch. For unknown reasons, Mom & Pop keep chasing any of the 1st fledglings off. Was of the belief that they were suppose to 'help' with follow-on broods(?)
Anyway, 2nd batch fledglings are now venturing out of the box - last night and this morning, had two 'Escapees'. This one made a hasty exit this morning; can't fly yet, so I put him/her back in the box.
