Because of the nice weather (75° mid-afternoon), went to Shenandoah River State Park and hiked along the river. Spotted two males flying upstream; and this female feeding in the rapids. She was very 'spooked' by the three of us walking the horse trail; only managed a couple of quick shots through the heavy brush along the river's edge. Best viewed in 'original' size.
