Southeastern Five-lined Skink

Warrenton, Virginia

Been seeing these around our Warrenton yard for a few years now. I'm not an expert, and this might be a Common Five-lined Skink, but I picked Southeastern because of the larger size. See 'previous' for closeup of head.

That's a nice critter to have in your yard. Lizards don't make it quite as far north as Massachusetts where I am.
