Goose

Warrenton, Virginia

Took several good close images of this single goose while standing on/near the single lane stone bridge on Airlie Road (Route 605) in Warrenton, Virginia. I first identified this goose as a leucistic
Canada Goose (January 17) but my shot back then didn't show the orange feet. Need help on this one.
See 'previous' five images - - all the very same goose. Took this image with the Canada for size comparison.
Best viewed in 'original' size.

Interesting goose you found Don. Hank is probably right, that it's a hybrid.

Nice shot, Don. I think Hank has it.

Hi again,

The one here mingles with the Canada geese too and is about the same size as them as well.

Hi Don,

We've had a similar one show up here for a number of years. It is probably a hybrid (Graylag-Canada or Greater White Fronted-Canada. See my posting of March 11, 2016.
