This single migrant seems to be very comfortable with this large flock of Canada Geese. This individual stayed a 'long-way-out' and hid among the Canada Geese.
Today was a cold/windy winter's day; this Greater White-fronted Goose is a 'rare' bird in this part of Virginia.
This and the previous two images are of the same individual; I took some twenty shots to get these three 'average' images.
These were taken on Fox Pond; one of the earthen-impoundments on this old farm property currently known as the Clifton Institute (private area)
