Madera Canyon View

Madera Canyon, Arizona

During our three-day stay at the Chuparosa Inn (B&B), Carol and I did three hikes up into the Nature Conservancy. This shot (actually two shots 'Stitched')
was taken (looking NW towards Tucson) on our 2nd hike up "Super Trail". The area that looks like a lake ( left center) is actually a copper mine.

Is that a city down by the mine? I prefer the foreground part of the landscape, wonderful dry hills that I could feel at home in.
