Mexican Jay

Hereford, Arizona

There were lots of these big jays in Ramsey and Ash Canyons. Watched a pair collecting nesting materials on a trail in Ramsey Canyon.
My ID book says they're only 11" high (same size as our more familiar Blue Jay), but they appear to be much bigger.
