Northern Flicker (Female)

Have a pair visiting our suet feeders several times a day. Managed a shot of this female through a double-pained kitchen window in very warm lighting.
Nasty wind with wind-chill below freezing.

Your 'Yellow-shafted' variety are very pretty. We have the 'Red-shafted" commonly here in NW but any yellows are almost always hybrid and never as pretty. Nice photo.
