Swallowtails 'Puddling'

Warrenton, Virginia

Seems very early for these Virginia State Butterflies to be 'puddling' on Mill Run, but, none-the-less, here they are.
Was looking for migrating NeoTropical birds, but you take what you can. These swallowtails prefer the depressions left by deer hoofs at the edge of the water.

Everyone needs a drink once in a while! :) Is that a deer track there?
