Song Sparrow

Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Had been seeing a nesting Western Tanager in this one area just off Butcher Knife Canyon Trail and this Song Sparrow (nesting in low willows) kept popping up right in front of me.

Nicely posed and framed among the bushes; love the way the sparrow is engaged with something - but not with you.
