In maple tree over Cedar Run about a mile from our Warrenton home.
This is my best shot after three hot days waiting for him to come up and "chat", but I haven't given up hope for a better capture.
A long way out; had the spotting scope at 50x, camera at 2.5x; edited with PSE, then Capture NX2.

Great shot and effort to make the image capture using your scope, Don. Always enjoy studying the other elements in your frame and composition - in this case how your subject is placed among the tree limbs. I know you don't have too much control over those type of details but seem to have them in many of your photos. Your bird subjects obviously know a few elements of composition and cooperate with you in the field!! Nicely done
