Tear down an 'old shed', replace foundation, add retainer wall, well 'pit' rehab (Scope of Project)
Well pit will go away with cutoffs and pressure tank incorporated into the new shed (Pump House).
Escavation of 30" deep trenches for well/pump pipes and electrical runs (Phase I); complete.
Escavate foundation/retainer wall; pour footers; install new block foundation and retainer wall
Complete electrical tie-in from home basement - conduit run along inside of retainer wall; complete.
Backfill foundation and sandstone wall; run downspout 4" PVC and cover all - complete.
Backfill between foundation and retainer wall; cleanup; plantings below wall(Phase II; on-going).
Extend flagstone walkway to pump house doorway and to steps to lower east; complete.
Erect timberframe pump house; relocate/connect well components; complete (is now functional).
Install door, windows, and finish off with hardie siding; complete.
Put up "gooseneck" light; complete internal electric; complete.

HI DON,

I KNOW IT'S BEEN A SPELL SINCE WE TALKED. GOOD PICTURES OF THE SHED. CAN'T WAIT TILL SPRING WHEN IT'S PAINTED. HOPE EVERYTHING'S GOING WELL. I'LL TRY NOT TO BE SO LONG IN NOT TALKING TO YOU.

Don, that was quite a project. No wonder you were super busy during that time.

I love your bird photos too. I'll forward them to my "bird-loving" granddaughter.

Looks like an article in Better Homes and Gardens - Beautiful! I love the character of the old shed - especially the stone foundation. Was it torn down?

Nice project - looks like you had fun with it. Great looking stone wall - love that sand stone. Sure wish you might reconsider exposing that timber roof structure on the exterior of the new shed - much to nice to cover-up with strand-board.
