THESE FRAGMENTS OF SCULPTURE FROM THE CONVENTUAL CHURCH OF HARTLAND ABBEY FOUNDED FOR AUGUSTINIAN CANONS IN 1169 AND DISOLVED IN 1539 WERE PLACED HERE FOR PRESERVATION IN 1912 BY DAME MARION STUCLEY
