Hi Christy, Duke and Luke,

Many thanks for your kind compliments that I appreciate.

This is a Cathedral - a famous one - in Rochester, a small town in Kent where the Great Charles Dickens lived.

The photograph is not digital. I used Fuji Neopan 400 asa, Minolta Light meter for
incident light metering (The best light meter in my view), and scanned the film.

The only processing in Photoshop that I do is adjust brightness/Contrast and sharpness.

Most of my B & W work is high contrast and on the darker side with shadow detail. This is different partly because of the weather condition and partly because I
wanted a light toned picture with white background- no clouds in the sky!

Christy, I have not used any additional filters. Nor have I enhanced it by pen and pencil drawing in any way.

Thanks once again for your feedback.

Datta.

Datta, please tell us more about this image. It appears to have been enhanced like a pen and ink drawing, but I am not sure because that hasn't been your style in the past. The image is so interesting to look at. It is wonderful. I am looking forward to your reply.

what great and noble place is this, Datta? Perhaps just some little country basilica...or perhaps the local convent. regardless, you have again masterfully captured it. the details in the stonework are beautiful here, so i can only imagine what a print would look like. Luke

The tones you get in your images are great.
Is this shot digitally, or is this film and scanned?
