Thanks Luke. I think this was with my Max 5 and the Tamron macro. I am blessed to have an Uncle with a house in Hilton Head where I can visit. There were Orchids in the living room. I got up early one morning and took them out on the deck and handheld the camera. There were white ones too. What is it about Orchids that are so intriguing? Christy

I would have been proud to claim this beauty, Christy. Great work!

You are right Robin, it's from the orchid shoot that I did last year when I got my Tamron 90mm macro. Christy

Robin-
I never really thought about it, but your comment on the backgrounds in my pictures got me to thinking how often I look for well lit subjects and a dark background to place them against. Good comment Robin!!

Duke,

I was thinking similar thoughts, maybe Duke but the background is not dark enough for a duke shot. Actually I am going with our own Miss Christy. Seems to me this is awfully similar to an abstract orchid shot of her's. Perhaps this was the original and it is a cropped BW version?

I go for Luke on this one. The lighting doesn't look like a Robin shot.
