Hi Christy,

I believe that Minolta 7xi was the first Minolta SLR that introduced the 14 segment metering that was also AF integrated. I did not auto bracket but took three different exposures
+1/2 and -1/2. However the one worked best was the normal.

I find 14 segment exposure bracketing works very well in most situations. My other Minolta body 800si also has 14 segment metering.

Cheers.

Datta.

Datta, I don't know what kind of metering the 7xi has, but did you just aim and shoot or did you bracket, and or/spot meter? The exposure is superb. The windows are not too hot and the shadows not too dark. Christy

Thanks Duke.

This was taken some years ago. It was also selected by RPS as one of the best images in a friendly competition.

The metering of Dynax 7xi is on the spot.

I appreciate your kind words.

Particularly well framed and superbly lit.
The person in the corner puts this one over the top!
I loved shooting in the cathedrals when I was in England. None of them came out this nicely though.
