Island of Sumatra, Indonesia (Jan. 16, 2005) – Air crew aboard a Marine Corps CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter, assigned to the “Flying Tigers” of Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron Two Six Two (HMM-262), unload humanitarian aid and disaster relief supplies in a remote region on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia, only accessible by helicopter. HMM-262 is currently embarked aboard USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) performing relief operations in support of Operation Unified Assistance, the humanitarian operation effort in the wake of the Tsunami that struck South East Asia.
