Indonesia (Jan. 14, 2005) - Young children of Banda Aceh, Sumatra, play on the only piece that remains of their home when a devastating tsunami hit the region Dec. 26. U.S. Military personnel are assisting local authorities using helicopters to transport supplies, bringing in disaster relief teams, and to support humanitarian airlifts to tsunami-stricken coastal regions. The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2) are currently operating in the Indian Ocean region off the coast of Indonesia and Thailand.
