Asian Tsunami: Tjalang, Sumatra, Indonesia

Tjalang, Sumatra, Indonesia (Jan. 11, 2005) – An Indonesian man gives a thumbs-up to a crew chief in the rear of an SH-60B Seahawk, assigned to the “Saberhawks” of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light Four Seven (HSL-47), after dropping-off food and relief supplies in the village of Tjalang on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. Helicopters assigned to Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2) and Sailors from USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) are supporting Operation Unified Assistance, the humanitarian operation effort in the wake of the Tsunami that struck South East Asia.
