Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia (Jan. 5, 2005) – Secretary of State Colin Powell greets U.S. Navy air crewmen assigned to the “Golden Falcons” of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Two (HS-2) on the runway at Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport in Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia. Powell surveyed the surrounding areas from a U.S. Navy Seahawk helicopter and conducted a short press conference at the airport terminal. Helicopters and aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2) and Sailors from Abraham Lincoln are supporting Operation Unified Assistance, the humanitarian operation effort in the wake of the Tsunami that struck South East Asia.
