Secretary of State Colin Powell is greeted by Commander, Carrier Strike Group Nine (CSG-9), Rear Adm. Doug Crowder, after landing at the Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport in Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia. Powell surveyed the surrounding areas from a U.S. Navy Seahawk helicopter and conducted a short press conference at the airport terminal. Helicopters and aircraft assigned to Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2) and Sailors from Abraham Lincoln are supporting Operation Unified Assistance, the humanitarian operation effort in the wake of the Tsunami that struck South East Asia.
