San Marino to Florence: There was only one way to go today, we followed Christian in the morning and then to follow Marko after lunch. Today’s trip took us along more great roads, the mountain retreat of St. Francis and the place where he received the stigmata, another perfect lunch prepared by Uli, and more great roads. The last leg of our ride after lunch I followed Neal, who was following Marko. The two of them where like jet fighters moving in tandem down the mountain roads towards Florence, being my last chance to enjoy these roads, I kept pace with them. The further we traveled down the mountain, and the closer we got to Florence, the greater the realization that our play time would have to end. That night we had another fantastic diner, and then stayed up late socializing.
