A remarkable shot. Of all the hawks, I think harriers look the most owl-like. Was this one on a nest? Our harriers here are ground-nesters. V

Great shot of this guy in the grass. As wonderful as all the in flight shots are, it is so interesting to see this hunter out of the sky. He kind of looks vulnerable here in the grass, although I'm sure that beak is quite a weapon. ~V~
