For the long time 35 mm was considered as the fairly wide angle lens when mounted on 24x36 mm (35mm) film format. Then 28 mm became standard for a wide lens, then we got spoiled so 24 mm became a "must have" item in our bags. Now we are normaly using whole range of 14, 20, 24, etc. rectilinear lenses, accompanied by 8 mm circular and 15 mm diagonal fisheyes. When mounted on digital bodies with APS-C size sensors, those lenses behawe somewhat differently. Here are the findings about different wide lenses behaviour on Nikon D70.
Thanks, Hani, I'm happy to share my findings with broader community than just 8000 readers of FotoMag magazine I write for. It's a pitty I can't translate and present full lens test articles here, but just the charts. Seen you gallery, you got very nice pics there. Lovely angel and Turkey just the way I remember...
