Am truly impressed by all your photos but particularly by the macros. The Sigma 105 is really excellent, I use the Nikon 105. Also the Sigma 50-500 gives brilliant results at a distance, butterfly with fig tree. I took an identical phot in my Provence garden with the Nikon 70-300. Thanks for posting such excellent images, a real pleasure. peter55
Excellent macro shots! Very impressive gallery!
Saluti Mario, thank you for the nice words. It is very flattering to read such sincere praising. Hoping you are photographer yourself and practising macro shooting. If I can help in any way in your strive, I'll be glad to do so. Best regards, Miljenko
Miljenko, i really love all your galleries. Some of your photos are my favourite desktop images. That yellow flower on deep black background is somptuous. Thanks for sharing them all.
Hi Arda, yes, D70 can't go any faster with built-in flash. But if external flash is used, you get a) much more light, and b) sync speed at will. What I do recently is firing two wirelessly linked SB800 units set to manual mode at lower power which shortens flash duration to less than 1/10,000 of a second. Regards, Miljenko
Great macro photos. I just bougth the same lens for me. Would you please let me know how could you get enought lighted photos with 1/3000 and f32. As far as I know D70 can go only 1/500 with built in flash. Did you use another flash?
Thanks a lot, Simon for the nice words. That ant pic was actually my first sold ever. It became the cover pic for the bug encyclopedia CD.
Best regards, Miljenko
