"Skate This Art" 2010 Exhibition

Some of the skateboard decks from the "Skate This Art" exhibition at Gallery 28 during the month of April.

Proceeds from the sale of the decks will go to help "North Beach Citizens", a nonprofit outreach
dedicated to serving the needs of the homeless and disabled in the North Beach community.

There will be a reception at the gallery on Saturday evening, April 17, from 6-9 p.m.

Gallery 28 is located at 1228 Grant Ave, between Broadway and Vallejo in North Beach.

I never dreamed that there was such a variety in skateboards, Paul. Skateboards came along too late for me, or else I neve knew about them out in the country, where I grew up. But I can just picture you zipping around on them. Really fine artwork.
