Italian Street Painting

The Italian Street Painting Festival is hosted by Youth in Arts. http://www.youthinarts.org/
Several blocks of downtown San Rafael, California are freshly paved and divided into areas
for artists and kids to work their magic with pastel chalk. Entertainment, food and drink
complement the artwork, creating a wonderful weekend for artists, performers and guests.

A group of us were there Saturday night and even though many of the works were just getting started, were blown away by what we saw. It is nice to see the finished product. For those that can - plan to attend next year's event - the area is gorgeous, the town is wonderful and the event itself is a treat!
