Nice to know Germany's been guarding the health of its beer drinkers since 1516. . . .

Wow, great capture of this! I didn't know St Pauli made these non-alcohol varieties. But Walt may be right about it being "cheap" beer, I got a headache after drinking these, and never bought them again. But Heineken's are a different story, you can drink those all night long and won't get a hangover ;P

Who would want to drink this?

Typically German, a blonde carrying six steins.

St Pauli is the "red light district" in Hamburg, Germany. The St Pauli brewery (at least in the early 1970's) was the main supplier of the really cheap, really bad beer that was sold in that neighborhood. (Not that I know, just from what I have been told ... :) ) Perhaps they went upscale in the intervening years.

Is this the beer you have when you're not having a beer?

Isn't non alcoholic beer like decaf coffee? Like what's the point!

Excellent image, Paul! I wonder if that is the name in Germany, or one the importer gave it? That camera seems right up your alley, with the wide angle lens.
