The main doors of Grace Cathedral in San Francisco are copies of the east entrance doors of the Baptistry of St. John in Florence, Italy.
Designed by the Renaissance artist Lorenzo Ghiberti, the doors have 10 panels 31-1/2 inches square depicting events from the Old Testament.
This panel, the topmost one on the left-hand door, depicts events in the lives of Adam & Eve recounted in the early chapters of Genesis.
