Monarchs from West of the Rockies overwinter in Pacific Grove by the thousands. They usually arrive in late October and leave in the Spring. An amazing sight to see. The gorgeous rocks, turquoise water, and abundance of wildlife make the beaches along Ocean Avenue another "must-see" for the area.
