Hanalei and Princeville

On the northern side of Kauai, this area is the very "tropical" side of the island - very lush green. The movie "South Pacific" was filmed here.
We attended a service at the idyllic Wai`oli Hui`ia Church - also known as "the green church." Then had a fabulous brunch at the St. Regis Princeville Hotel. Wow! We drove out to Ke`e Beach (as far northwest as you can go), stopping to put our feet in Hanalei Bay at Waikoko Beach. We saw a wet cave and a dry cave and stopped at the Hanalei Valley lookout. Great views from there including taro plantations.
