It has been a family tradition to take one evening to
go crawdad fishing at the pier in Tahoe City. We catch the guys with string and
bacon, put them in a plastic tub with water for a little while and then release them all.
This year the little flying gnats that come out as dusk were pervasive.
They don't land on you, but they do get in your face.
They also showed up in some of my shots! - none I posted.
