During The Montreal Jazz Festival, "La Carifiesta" is an event and you can see it with those pictures I took on St-Antoine St. Around 100000 people were dancing in the street on hot music, a lot of drums, very exciting and very nice to listen, a lot of rythm... and a lot of people! In memories of the historic battle agains the slavery of the people living in the Caraibes.

Au moins 100 000 personnes ont participé au défilé de la Carifiesta, qui a eu lieu samedi après-midi dans le centre-ville de Montréal. Célébrée depuis maintenant une trentaine d'années au Québec, la Carifiesta est l'occasion de commémorer la lutte historique contre l'esclavage des peuples des Caraïbes, qui manifestent par la même occasion leur détermination à poursuivre le combat jusqu'à l'obtention de leur pleine libération.
Quiconque met les pieds à la Carifiesta apprécie immédiatement l'exceptionnelle ambiance de fête qui y règne et le fort esprit de fraternité qui unit les participantes et participants, de toutes origines.

I used my Canon AE-1 with my FD50mm 1:1.4ssc and I put it on the automatic exposure, I didn't have time to adjust it, because too much action going on. I used a green filter for the contrats.
