En plus d'avoir tout manuel pour prendre la photo, il faut que je leur lance des petites bouchees de pain pour qu'ils viennent pres de moi car ils sont tous sur la glace sur le fleuve. Aussitot qu'ils voient les morceaux de pain dans les airs, ils arrivent tous en meme temps. J'ai juste le temps d'enligner l'objectif et lui donner le bon focus manuellement et prendre quelques photos lorsque les canards sont dans les airs. La meilleure solution, il faudrait etre deux, un qui lance le pain et l'autre s'enligne pour prendre les photos. C'est du sport.
My equipment is completely manual, I have to pitch in the air some little pieces of bread and I can see the ducks arrive all together. They lay down on the ice of the river and when they see the pieces of bread in the air, they fly very fast to get it close to me. I have just the time ot adjust the lens and get some pictures when they are in the air. I have to focus right manually. A real sport!!

Canon AE-1P ,Canon FD200 1:1.40 SSC,Kodak MAX 400
MA motor on my Canon AE-1P to get more then 3 pictures a second full exif

Seems like a lot of work, but the results are worth it. Reminds me of the old days with our manual cameras...
