Ship Wharf Brigg USS NIAGARA
The brig was the flaghip for Oliver Hazard Perry during the US War of 1812 and fought in the battle of lake Erie 1814. The ship sunk twice: 1820, then it was raised and sunk again in 1836 and was raised again in 1913. Then Niagara was served as historical monument and was displayed on land until the hull went rotten. A reconstruction was buildt in 1988 and the ship is under sail again since 1990.
