Eighteen Mile Creek runs from the Boston Hills area near Hamburg NY through Hamburg to Lake Erie. On that run, many roads and 3 major highways ( I 90, Rt 20 and Rt 5) cross it.

I will mention more about the route and geography of the creek in the story. I decided to use it as the focus because of the interesting route and the connections I have had with the creek throughout my life.
