With the rough side out, we're ready for the plaster pour. It'll come right to the top, and once it's dry, I'll get to the coloring of the water bottom as well as the rip rap and embankment from river to track level. Rocks will be along the shore as well. I'll try to get a slimy black & dark green line to simulate the waterline, gotta pick that point carefully. With the rough side out on the existing piece, the next level of fascia will be placed about an eighth or so above the existing, glued/laminated to it, smooth side out. So the two rough sides should glue nicely to one another. That extra 1/8" will contain the water pour of casting resin.
