Sharp radius fascia

After two attempts to bend the Masonite around the sharp bend shown here, I realized that what was possible when bending it one way (back side out) is not possible when putting the front side outward. Then I spied an errant piece of .060 styrene that just happened to be the exact right size! Trying it in place, it conformed to the curve easily, and the PL construction adhesive firmly attached it to the backing Masonite. Problem solved!

Great idea for a tight radius fascia! Another method that I've used, in case anyone is interested, is to use "bendable plywood" - it is only 2mm thick, and bends very tightly. I bought my first few sheets from Compton Lumber (Seattle), then, after moving to Mount Vernon, I checked with the local building center (not Big Box store) and they ordered me in two sheets. Note: You don't need a pickup to haul this bendable plywood - I just "rolled up" my sheets into a "drum" shape and held it in that position with some bungee cords. When I got home, I just unwrapped it and it laid out flat again. Hope this is useful...
