Marble Canyon - Arizona
The canyon is located just south of Lee's Ferry Campground, Arizona. The clouds over the cliff faces never moved and kept perpetuating themselves, essentially making its own weather.

Snowy Scene in the Sandia Mountains
I came on this early morning scene on Sandia Crest just east of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
It was dead calm and I took the shot. Fifteen minutes later a light wing blew all the light snow cover off the trees. Dumb luck produced this image.
