We didn't go to the pier when we finished the trip as we had a dinner engagement that evening. But, I was able to get a few shots early the next morning. Unfortunately, the only folks on the pier were the police and the homeless, with a few joggers thrown in for good measure.
My impression of California was captured this morning. In all the folks we passed on the street only one person looked at us and said Hi.
This was so different in all the other places where folks were friendly and interested in our journey.
