GempitaFest was held on the 26th of November 2004 at the University of Michigan. What started off as a humble "battle of the bands" meet of Malaysian students studying in the United States, has now boomed into a full-fledged annual rock concert.
I had the privilege of being the official photographer for the event. It was an invaluable experience for me, learning how to incorporate flash photography with available light in a live concert setting. I'm looking forward to the one in 2005 which is currently in the works. |
