Ragnar Östberg

The tour-guide explained that Östberg, Stadhuset's architect, was an extremely
single-minded person. It must have required quite a force of character to
accomplish what he accomplished in designing this amazing building.

The guide didn't say how he felt about this bust of himself. She did mention that he hated
one of his portraits — he thought it made him look arrogant. He might in fact have
been arrogant, but perhaps that's what it takes to do push such a project to completion.
