Aries
Laurie noticed this cat some weeks ago new in the area, and skittish.
He'd meow at her from a distance but would move away if she approached.
Finally one day she coaxed him into sniffing her hand, whereupon a furious
head-butting episode ensued. Hmm. Clearly this cat liked her a lot. He hung
around the front door all day. Everyone who stopped by that day figured he
must be our new cat. Nope and we weren't about to let him in. We weren't
ready for a new cat. We were still getting over having lost Oscar. Surely
this new cat must belong with someone else.
But he wasn't about to leave our front porch. It was clear he wanted in.
Then finally I petted him. Wow bony. I figured he must be very hungry.
I decided to feed him outside. He nearly climbed my leg to get at the food,
then face-planted into the dish. No kidding he was hungry...
