The photo club had a field trip to the Animal Ark. Plenty of members came out and we had perfect weather. Tim led the trip and one of the themes of the day was the use of flash in bright daylight. I used the flash in all of these images even though it was a bright sunny day. The flash really helps to take out harsh shadows in the subject. The birds were in the shade, so the flash really helped with those too.
