We believe this is one of the parents in the lower nest eating a Muskrat. Another thing we didn't see that we were hoping for at the beginning of this venture, was to have a Heron or Egret flying in with a snake, frog, fish, etc. in its beak. Never did see that. It appeared to us that most of the feeding was done with digested food being regurgitated up by the parent. But we did get a few shots of relatively whole food being eaten, so maybe it is a mixture of the two.
