Our first sighting of a Heron chick. For unknown reasons, we saw this chick only two weekends, then it was gone. A week or so later, the nest was abandoned. One of the few disappointments of the whole experience is we didn't see a lot of feeding of the baby Herons. The Egrets more than made up for it though.
