Emily, Hannah and I were sitting around this Tiger Lily in the meadow while I photographed the Lily. This Western Tiger Swallowtail came in to feed as we were sitting all around the flower. I was too close to get a shot the first time, but I backed up some and it came in again, so I got a few shots of it.
I recently bought some equipment that includes an Infrared motion sensor. Next summer I hope to set up near one of the Tiger Lilies and get shots of these butterflies in flight as they come in to feed on a Lily. Should be very challenging, but if successful would create some great images.
