There were hundreds of these little frogs in the mud along what's left of the Big Pond. They came in quite a variety of colors.

That evening, while helping Mom to gather firewood, I fell on a downed tree. A few days later I went for Xrays and found out I had broken 4 ribs. That barely slowed me down for the rest of Labor day weekend as far as photography goes, but put me out of commission for chasing the sheep, etc for the balance of September.
