Hadn't been to Hot August Nights in many years, so decided to try it this year with the Best Shot Group. The others stayed along Virginia Street. I left to put my tripod away and when I got back, the parade had started, blocking off my route back to the others. So I ended up on Center Street. Turned out to be the way to go, as almost no one else there, so I could sit down on the curb next to the road to take my pictures. The traffic was stop and go, so with the low angle, I was very happy with the results.
